When I say I miss my pre pregnancy body...I really really do 😭 I'm slowly trying to accept my postpartum figure, stretch marks and all but acceptance is starting to be a whole other journey in itself.

@pinkxoxo, I really hope so. With the c section it's been hard for me to jump right back to the gym. With breastfeeding its so hard to eat the way I did before. Or supplement with protein like I did. You can't really supplement. You have to have everything in whole foods. It gets so discouraging at times 😔

@pinkxoxo, damn that's so much you lost! Thats amazing 👌🏽 I trust you. It seems like that's what everyone is telling me. It's just so hard when the scale shows I'm already at my pre pregnancy weight but my body does NOT match anymore 😒

I know girl it's hard because your not used to your body like that. Give it 4 months you'll see

I know exactly how you feel. I was very self-conscious about the way I looked after I gave birth, I think the excess weight contributed to my depression. Don't worry about your body right now and enjoy that baby.
My daughter is now 2 years old and I can't say I got my body back, I have a pooch I can't get rid of and stretch marks that will always be with me however I got back to my pre-pregnancy workouts and I feel stronger and sexier than ever! My body has been redefined from giving birth to an amazing little person.

@lorrainev, you have no clue how much that means 💖 I saw your body positive picture on the hashtags today and I showed my husband like "look at her amazing body. I wish my mombod would look like that 😑"
It seriously gives me hope that I'll get my body back one day. I can totally see how it contributed to your mental health. I'm a fitness professional and I still can't even make sense in my head of why my body isn't working the same way. I mean I get it logically but emotionally I just can't accept it.
After having a baby things are SO different. I was telling @pinkxoxo just how hard it is to do any strict dieting/lifestyle changes when your breastfeeding. Or return to the gym post op from a c section. It gets frustrating. But stories like yours & @pinkxoxo, give me serious hope.

You certainly will get your confidence back and then some. I can tell you lift. Weight-training alone as a woman is a huge confidence booster. Combine that with the fact that your body made life, whoo! You'll be a whole new woman. Just you wait. Let your body recover from the operation and yes I know what you mean about the breastfeeding, I ate like a damn horse lol
