My daughter turned 6 months on Thursday. She was born 5 weeks early and still doesn't roll or sit up...should I be concerned? I mentioned it to her dr last week and he's like because she's early it's ok. It's not that she's not trying with the sitting up thing, she looks like she's in a permanent sit up position trying to get up lol. And rolling over...part of that is because she had such bad tummy problems we didn't do tummy time for a long time and now she is getting it and really just likes eating her toes lol.

It's completely normal. Every baby is different and hits each milestone at there own pace. The average age for milestones are just a guideline my daughter was slightly behind each one and all of a sudden decided she wanted to walk a few weeks ago she wanted to walk! You're daughter will catch up just keep on working at it with her 😊

Totally agree with @smith0217, babies are different some sit up at 4-5 months and some at 8-9 months both are totally normal as per my Prdiatrician
