Baby Marthas mostly on breast milk now since i got the new pump yesterday, but she still eats formula when mommy doesnt wake up in time to pump for her in the middle of the night. Hopefully the lactation consultants can help her latch later on this week or next week. They said the reason why she doesnt fully latch and seems to get irratated with them right now is bc her muscles arent developed enough to suckle and latch properly. They said to give her a few weeks, and it should get better the closer she gets to when she wouldve been full term.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

HELP! My baby is a few weeks old. We had trouble with latch in the beginning and she wasn't getting enough food I had to introduce formula to clear her jaundice when she came home..was nervous about introducing the bottle because I knew it might confuse her which I think it did and now have been giving her some breast milk I pump and formula as well. Really want to get her to latch on my breast but it is not working. Any advice here??
