So yesterday was my 37 week prenatal visit and as always my husband came with. My doctor is a male and my husband was not happy to find out that in order to check my cervix he physically had to dig his fingers inside my cooka. He had a fit about it for at least a half an hour even though there was another nurse in the room just like regulation to ensure its not sexual and strictly professional. I tried not to giggle at him. (By the way im 1-2 cm dilated.) So has anyone elses SO reacted this way?

When I went to L&D, the overnight dr was a male and I was in so much pain but not dilating and he had to come in and basically shove his whole hand up there, lol. My husband thought it was funny.
Then I delivered my baby by a male med student who didn't even want to be an OBGYN, it was just part of his rotation.
My husband is now friends with him on FB 😂

Lmao there's no I think it's funny tho cuz that shit hurts there's no way it'd ever be enjoyable n I'm like 99% sure it's not fun for dr either lmao😂😂

Yes. My husband went on and on about how I got a cheap thrill out of it. Right. I don't think so. And I had a male dr and when he went on vacation his partner, a female, seen me and I will tell you she hurt me. My male dr never hurt me in any exam. So I prefer male. And not for the cheap thrill. Haha! 😜

The only time a male doctor checked me, was absolute hell and it hurt so bad, he was digging for gold in there. I went into labor 4 days later 🙇

I'm so glad that my man was never with when a male doctor checked me. He would have asked if a female was available. He doesn't get its just medical shit, lol
