So, my boyfriend and I work for the same company. 2 people in his store got fired last week, so they needed someone from our store to go over to their store for today bc they're extremely shorthanded.
Guess who volunteered? MY DUMB ASS. I haven't finished training, I don't know shit, my bf is gonna be breathing down my neck the whole time...what have I done. 😩😩 I have so much anxiety lol, not to mention I completely fucked myself bc now I'm essentially working 2 shifts: 10-2 at my store, and 3 to 8 and the other store. 😐😐😐
I shouldn't be allowed to do things. 😂 I'm so nervous. And having my bf be there makes me feel like there's 100x more pressure on me, and I still haven't done so many things...WHY DID MY MANAGER EVEN APPROVE THIS.
I'm a nervous wreck. I'm gonna have a panic attack. Gonna crash and burn right here. 😓😓😓

I'm sure if your manager agreed, it's because they're confident you can do it! Take your shift to learn as much as you can for YOUR comfort. Don't worry about your boyfriends opinion, he was in your shoes also, he should be supportive. Let him know you're a little nervous and ask him to train you. You never know, he might actually be very patient and helpful. Good luck! 😊

You can do it. Believe in yourself. Keep it professional. And just ask that your bf treat you equally and don't give you special attention or dog you out.
