@sarahmartinez817, thanks mama ❤️ I've been drinking a ton of water and thankfully she went down really easily for bed, so I was able to come lay with her to rest my head. Usually I can deal with them, but this one is terrible because I wasn't home when it started, so I couldn't pop an ibuprofen. I just took one of the ones my OB prescribed for me after I gave birth because I'm ready to crawl under a rock and hibernate for a year
I'm glad you're able to rest! I remember the first time I got one after I had my son, my hubs was out of town and kiddo just would not settle and I was ready to crawl under my bed and cry.
I don't know if you've tried this before, but my Doc recommended cold stone massage for them ( just sticking massage stones in the freezer for 10 minutes then massaging the back of your neck and head with them). If your insurance covers them professionally it is amazing, but mine didn't so I bought a set of the stones on Amazon for like $10 and do it myself, it works wonders! If I catch it early enough sometimes I don't need to take any medication for the migraine at all.
@sarahmartinez817, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! Looking on Amazon right now. I had no clue those even existed.
I have gotten migraines since I was 2. My solution was always an Excedrin migraine downed with a McDonald's coke. It would be gone in 20 minutes. But I'm still nursing and I don't want to caffeine to go to Olivia and keep her awake, so I just do water and it takes an hour or two to subside. So I'm really looking forward to trying those stones
Ouch! I can't imagine having migraines that young, that must have bee so awful for you! Mine started in college, it took my years to find anything that works since I'm allergic to some of the more common migraine meds.

I'm sorry, migraines are the worst, especially when you have a kiddo to look after. I hope you feel better soon!
