Hung parliament! x any thoughts girls?? 🤔 x
@xxxzenixxx @west94 every religion has a right to worship. I havent a problem with any religion and I am Catholic myself. I completely understand that each religion has its own ways and should be encouraged to follow them but they should not affect the lives of anyone else, for example, devote christians dont believe in same sex partnerships but they shouldnt stop people in love being together. Your views should never be forced onto anyone. You see a lot on social media, especially against muslims, which is disgusting and i believe social media makes it worse... like pictures of bacon sandwiches saying "share this before they take it down because its offensive" honestly thats bullshit stirred up by bigots.
@west94, I COMPLETELY AGREE 👍 x how is it offensive!! x some people just like making an issue over nothing x
These terrorist want the sharia law in England x Im like ARE YOU MAD!! x Im muslim and so grateful how we do have mosques here x we can wear headscarfs x we have a right to pray and practice our religion x even though this is a Christian Country x I wouldn't have it any other way x If this was an Islamic country then i would understand x But it's not x
@west94, I understand you're upset But every religion has a right to have any building made whether it's a church, mosque or temple x I love our country and how diverse we are x Yeah this is a Christian land but it was build by immigrants x
It's just BS how loose the rules are around immigration x I think it should be re-evaluated x Alot stricter x All our well educated people are being offered great jobs overseas x But we are getting the ones (not all but most) that are abusing the system x but nothing is being done x
@kayteamay yes i completley agree with that it ruins it for the people who love this country and who contrebute its a shame its gotten to this. Im british born but my great nan adopted alot of my family who are all mixed races and they grew to be amazing contributing citizens i love we are multi cultral just wish everyone was about peace and love insted of hate and war xx
@west94 there are a lot that abuse the system when it comes to benefits and the NHS and its disgusting. The diversity in this country is incredible and its brilliant that we can welcome so.many dofferent culture and religions. Sadly its those who abuse the system or take their religious views too far that problems are caused.
@kayteamay i think the less imigration the less problems they say without immigration we wouldnt have many nhs workers as they are foreign the majority of them but at the same time its alot of foreigners coming here to abuse the system for free healthcare so if we sort that out wed save alot. Xx
@west94 completely agree with that. A lot of people dod vote for them because of our immigration laws, which is the same reason a lot of people voted leave in the referendum. There is a serious immigration problem in thia country which is very strong for me to say as I am the child of immigrants (though my dad is now a manager at the royal mail and my mum is a primary achool teacher) i do believe we need to take on the same laws as Australia where you must be skilled or in a career in demand to live in the country.
@sarahrose569 The Tories and the DUP have now formed a government so Theresa May is still our prime minister. The discussions for Brexit will begin in the next 10 days. This will be the discussions like which European laws are we taking on, working out our trades with other countries, how we will pay back any money we have borrowes from the EU. To be honest none of us really know what will happen until it happens now.
@sarahrose569 Tories are known for kind of siding with the rich whereas labour are more for the working person. If Labour had won the majority vote I think we would be in a better position as they made some fantastic points in their manifesto (list of the things they want to do when in government) like taxing those with higher wages, raising minimum wage, providing more childcare options for working parents, putting more money into the NHS, cutting university fees. Honestly I cant get my head around how the Tories have managed to win it. Jeremy corbyn worked hard to encourage voters ages 18-25 and this election has had the most people from that age range voting than ever before which is brilliant. Sadly it wasn't enough though.
@west94 haha glad i could help. The Tories and the conservatives are the same party. Conservative is the formal name, Tory is like a nickname.
@sarahrose569 @xxxzenixxx @west94 to win an election you need the majority vote which is basically 326 of the seats in parliament. You need to have more seats than the other parties to win if that makes sense. The tories won 317 which is a drop from the last election. This, for them, is very bad. Theresa may called this election fornthe purpose of winning more seats in parliament so she would have more of her MPs in seats backing her with her Brexit negotiations (basically the more of your team you have behind you the more likely you are to get what you want). Its has really back fired and she has lost MPs. To win the majority the Tory party has essentially "borrowed" the MPs from the DUP party who won 10 seats bringing their total to 327 meaning they have more seats than everyone else, making them the winners. I am incredibly anti tory and a coalition with the DUP is as bad as it can get. The DUP are anti-gay right, against abortion, racist, and sexist (and thats just to start!)
@sarahrose569, Well it's not who WE wanted to win x because not everyone voted the same hun x so basically both the Conservative party and Labour Party don't have enough seats to actually win x
@kayteamay, yep! So true! x i think people feed into social media too much x also false "facts" x
