Tips for a stuffy nose? He absolutely hates when I suction it out.

@starting_over39 he cries for like 30 minutes after and stink eyes me the rest of the day lol. It needs to come out though he keeps swallowing it, gagging and throwing up

yup.. I know exactly what your saying 😌.. I usually put saline drops and allow it to run out.. once it starts flowing.. I then take a wipe on do one good swipe. She freaks a little but I take her directly outside and she see stops 😉. Lastly I bring her in and grab my suction device 😎 I suction both nostrils and of course resistance takes place 😂.. She freaks out and I give her the pacifier and back outside I go. It's a process but it works and the stink eye is still directed at me but not as harsh cause she's somewhat distracted @meghan.brophy

Sometimes I just bring him in the bathroom while I shower and let him play in his bouncy chair. Then it loosens it all up and he sneezes it out. Doesn't always work through and I end up with the suctioner in the same situation lol

I'd sit in the bathroom with the shower going to help

My midwife has me put breast milk in his nose for congestion and breast milk in his eye for an eye infections or blocked tear ducks.
