So my hubby graduated college as a surg tech and has assisted in many many surgeries and has even been elbow deep in someone's chest during surgery. None of that really phased him. We both run as volunteer fire fighters (him more so then me now since I can't run now) and he had helped pick dead bodies and some really banged up people up off the side of the road from car accidents. But this man almost passed out when I did my first blood draw at 12 weeks (they took 6 tubes) I chocked it up to the amount of tubes and the fact he hadn't eaten. My last blood draw didn't bother him (but come to find out he looked away) now yesterday I got my TDap shot and he told me it made him woozy. Oh boy I feel like he may have a hard time when I am in labor. I guess it's different when it's someone u really care about. Any mommas go thru this and have any tips to help? I would really prefer if he didn't pass out on me 😂

Id like to know too! My husband gags just from hearing about something like birth. Idk what I'm gonna do. I'm definitely gonna tell the nurses to make sure he has a bucket and some washcloths. Good thing is he is already sitting so he won't hit his head when he faints lol

if I start explaining something about birth or wat something is used for say the beast pads mine tells me to stop to explain later after he has had a few beers. wonder how he will do when I do go into labor and he is work he won't have few beers in then.

@ccarter9614 lmao mine isn't that bad. Talking about it and stuff and watching videos doesn't bother him it's only when needles r going in me it seems lol

mine walks out for that he don't want no part in it. even when I was giving insulin shots in the nursing home when we got bak together he had to turn away. @lillyb

@ccarter9614 see it usually doesn't bother him and he takes a shot in the stomach once a week (tho he rly had to work up to that since he hates needles so very much) and seeing ppl get long needle Injections doesn't bother him as he has assisted with those as well as long as they weren't for him. But now that I'm pregnant seeing needles with me seems to bother him. He had to walk out of the room when they gave me an IV in the ER back in feb but once it was in he was good so I'm hoping it's just the needles
