Its for yeast. Like thrush usually. But it will clear up a diaper rash in a heart beat

@sawyersmomma, will nystatin really work for a diaper rash that isn't a yeast rash? My little guy has a little spot on his very lower belly that my doctor said was fungal. She prescribed us way more nystatin then we need and it cost a bundle. I'm afraid we wasted money on way too much of something we didn't need. But, if it'll work on any old diaper rash that makes me feel a ton better.

@brookemmoore, when my son was just a couple months old we found out he had a milk protein allergy. He pooped all the time and was basically acid eating at his poor bum. We never added anything to his bath, would just let him soak in the warm water daily. After his bath I would lay him down on towels and fan his butt for a bit to get it as dry as possible. We used extra strength desitin then after every diaper change. Eventually the rash went away, I think in about a week. It was so frustrating his butt was so raw sometimes the cream wouldn't even stick. Good luck.
