Had a rather disappointing appointment today. They found a bright spot on the babies heart (EIF) so they scheduled me to get more blood work done (for Down syndrome) and to do another ultrasound/echo of the heart to make sure nothing is seriously wrong since heart issues do run in my family. 😔 hope everything is okay.

@markscasey718 at 20 weeks they found the same thing. I had to go to a specialist. Turns out its very common and it wasn't a defect at all. It was just calcium build up and the doc said it will eventually disappear on its own. Most likely during the 3rd trimester.
