I went to wic today to start my daughter on formula only I've been buying out of pocket and it's expensive . I work m-f .and I had to get out of work to make an appointment at 2:30 . So I get there early and sit .. and sit and patiently wait for an hour . By now it's 3:30 and I get taken to the back they told me they couldn't give me any formula until I returned the breast pump . I explained I just got off work had to rush there after picking my children up at daycare and I forgot to put it in my car this morning . She said there isn't anything I can do for you today , we will have to reschedule .. I lost it girls , the past month between my fatigue and marital issues and stress ... I broke down I just couldn't contain myself . I said so I have to come back during work hours and lose out on more money that I really need to sit here for another hour ? Is that what your telling me? Because I live 4 miles away and an hour ago I could have went home for the pump and my child would have formula .. and now you tell me an hour after my appointment ? It's been a long day and a rough month let me tell you ... just hoping it gets easier ... I'm livid 😤
