Why does my obgyn having me wait a whole month for my first check up?? I really can't keep dealing with this naseua & sickness, I really really would like something that would keep it down a lil or help me not throw up as much.... I especially wanna get prenatals & make sure the baby is ok!! What should I do? Or the normal wait for the first check up is this long? I never experienced this with my first pregnancy cause I went to a family dr! Some things might be a little different, some please help me😩😩😩

They should have a number you can call into when your not feeling good. And they should be able to get you meds or see you sooner. That's what I did and still do.

@beebaby, any specific kind I should get? & ughhh are you serious? The hospital couldn't even give me anything they told me to ask my doc for them...

My first OB visit wasn't until 8 weeks for pregnancy and I was an already established patient with their office.

You can pick up over the counter prenatal or have your ob call them in for you . They can send it to the pharmacy without seeing you.

Waiting is definitely normal.. Because being early they really can't even see much. I know how you feel I'm always nauseous as well. Eating before you even get up out of bed helps too.

@kenitra, yeah I won't be 8 weeks till Wednesday but July 18th I'll be 13 weeks and that's when my appt is!

@mommabear17, okay cause I felt a little scared having to wait that long.. & maybe that's the problem I never eat before I get out of bed I always wait like 2/3 hours later to eat.

@zykeeriacox, That does seem late for a very first visit! I knew the gender of my baby by 12 Weeks!
