Opinions: My 7 year old just got out of school for Summer break and is now going to the babysitter my 4 year old goes to. There are 4 other kids ranging from 9mths-6years so they are the perfect age. However my youngest is having a hard time adjusting to sharing "her space" with her older sister. And my oldest is having a hard time not being the "boss." I got told daily they are arguing, pushing, and not sharing with each other. I have the option to send my youngest to a Christian K4 program but it will cost me more money. What should I do? I can't keep getting these phone calls while I'm at work it just stresses me out!!

@_maraplus4, @candidbabex, Totally agree and we have done this... I wish I were home I could show you some photos, but we have a behavior chart that they get to fill in each day, we also have our rules listened on the white board in the play room as well as the consequence for each rule. They tell me they are going to do good, they do well at home, and then when they are there all of the sudden it goes out the window. They get put into time out at the sitters if needed but they sit and they are fine until the next blow up. When they come home they are fine they will lay down and watch a movie together and go through the evening until bedtime. I just don't know what to do while they are there!!
They get their sad face on their chart so they don't get to go pick a prize at the end of the week if they get two in 5 days. They aren't allowed to play on tablets etc. but I'm also feel bad for disciplining them at home for behavior they are being talked to and sat in time out for already at the sitters. Then they are just in trouble all day. We do it, but it's just not doing anything.
Oh and we also came up with the rules and consequences as a family as well as a list of manners and they are excited about all of that. Ugh I just don't know

@candidbabex, ugh! I wish I was able to do that!! The only thing I could do would be to have her bring them to my work. But that's not realistically something I can do consistently because it slows me down here. :( I was in tears over it yesterday. I don't have bad kids but all I hear from school is they did this or that. It's so draining everyday :/

I would tell your daycare provider that unless they are fist fighting you don't need to be notified over every little squabble. That's actually unnecessary and she can tell you what happened when you pick them both up. Siblings fight. It is totally normal. If it goes beyond a normal fight that is when you should be notified. I still believe you should sit down and discuss with them that they can't keep fighting all of the time. And they need to talk to each other about their feelings
