Okay ladies, I need opinions...my nephew got cut earlier today by a staple on the floor above his foot by his ankle (not at my house) and my sister in law wanted to take him to the hospital because she said it looked pretty deep, but her husband started acting like he was a dr and knew everything and said he was fine it wasnt that bad...I personally didnt see it but i think if that was my child i would have taken him just to be safe...now my nephew seems to be acting fine and it doesnt seem to be bothering him...what would you ladies do?!

If it was my child I would have taken him to the doctor. I mean it could get infected and the things I would definitely consider would be, was it an old rusty staple? Where the staple come from? Things like that.

And his age would play a factor as well

@huntersmommy716 hes 4 1/2 and the staple was from the floor of some tile that my sister in laws friend put in her house, it was in the corner part of the flooring..

I would have taken him. Because yeah at 4 he can tell you it hurts but he can still be distracted from the pain by playing and toys and tv. In my personal opinion. Plus with it being from flooring there's no telling what could be on it.

I know, and i even tried to talk to my sister in law to take him but her husband said he doesnt need to go...personally of it was my child i wpuld have taken him...rather be safe then sorry...
