I think preschool itself prepares them better for kindergarten no matter if they go at 3 or 5 but I feel like kids need structure and they learn life skills like sharing and standing in line and taking turns.

@deckroth2001 Thank you. The preschool I'm looking at allows parents to participate so that makes me want to put my daughter in at 3, plus her mind is extremely active lol. Do you think having your children in preschool longer prepares them better for elementary?

I enrolled mine at 3 only because I worked in the building so they went 3 years. The classroom had 3,4,5 years old. If you have a good teacher that doesn't expect a 3 and 5 year old do the same tjings., I would say go for it.
