I don't wanna sound dumb but it's been such a long time since I traveled. I got a email asking me to check in early and choose my seats but I gotta pay for it. I never knew I had to pay extra. Should i just wait till tomorrow to do this when I get to the air port

Get to your gate early, as soon as the flight attendant gets to the desk go up there and explain the situation. 9/10 They have accommodated me and sat my family together. I have also gotten a free seat for my daughter for her car seat on more than one occasion by being nice and getting their first.
You just want to be the first one that asks, other people will probably try the same thing

You have to pay for your carry on?? I didn't choose my seats last time I flew and my husband and I sat together. They're typically good on seating on that if you bought them together I've never had an issue

Yea its insane to travel!! They charge for everything now a days. Its a tough gamble when you are taking kids and need to sit together

You don't have to necessarily choose your seat to sit together. Once you bought your tickets together you should be ok. Which airline is charging for carry on? I know jetblue, delta and AA is free carry on. Check again. @amaperalta03,

@nurseriri, I'm traveling with frontier. I paid for my bagging and carry on online cause supposedly it was cheaper online then it would be at at the airport. I'm traveling to Florida. I just don't get how they really want more money outta us when we just spend money on tickets and our bags

Girl this is such a money making business. One minute we traveling and don't have to pay for checked luggage. Couple months later we have to pay for each except carry on. We are going to Cancun in a month and won't be surprised if we have to pay for our carry on. Ridiculous. But have fun boo. @amaperalta03,
