Okay so story time. My grandmother (my mom's mom) made all of us grandkids blankets and made them for the greatgrand kids as well. She also made slippers and all sorts of stuff for us she was very talented. She passed away when I was in highschool after coming to live with us when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and hospice came in to help her until she passed away. My niece (who is 8) was given one of the last blankets my grandmother made before she stopped making them when she got sick. She decided to give it to baby Sapphire and it srslt made me choke up. She even made a card to go with it saying how much she can't wait to meet her and how much she loves me and her. This one wasn't made for her but it was given to her by my grandmother. I srsly feel so honored and I kno Sapphire will cherish it as much as I do when I tell her stories about her great grandmother ♡
