Hun, if he doesn't care to leave u and ur bby alone to go out with his friends and who knows who else then u don't need to care niether! In my personal opinion nobody would ever stop me from going to see any of my family, especially my great grandmother and on her b'day! You are so blessed to still have her, I'd give anything to have mine alive... I regret not spending more time with her as an adult bcus she practically raised me. The day that u loose her u will so regret it, if he doesn't look get along with ur family that's his problem, don't make it urs... Good luck sweetheart ❤
