Poo like cramps all morning and a slight pain in my cervix ( feels like my cervix anyways) I'm not sure but very uncomfortable

I had cramps starting the night before every 10-20 min felt nothing like the described contractions to be . By morning every ten min went to the laundry mat very uncomfortable ... by evening very 7 min my so got off work , went to pick up food. I was so uncomfortable these cramps were coming every 7-5 min now but I was like this isn't what contractions were described as. By the end of eating I was like wtf I'm gonna call the doctor. Got to the hospital every 3 min and hr later had my epidural with contractions every 1 min
