5:35am still hardly any progress with dialation. Sitting up now for two reasons at 21 units the potocin has finally increased the pain enough that if im laying down it feels like my back is in a vice. And i just mean a vice bc it doesnt feel like contractions. The second reason why is bc im trying to use gravity to make the baby progress faster. Ive been in active labor since 8pm Thursday night and have only dialated alittle over 6 cm. Today (Saturday) at 5:38am im still in labor even though my water broke naturally on its own 2 nights ago. Sitting up ive reduced the pain some again but as you can tell in the picture im still able to tolerate it very well. Since ive been sitting up i do feel an increase in pressure. Im hoping by using gravity that i can speed up the dialation some. Im tired of being in labor bc im bored, and bc im hungry. I want food.

Good luck I was in labor for almost 30 hrs and it was horrible 😞

@babyabilene lol my mom has us both beat. She was in labor with me for 3 days

@bethany_swaney, oh no that's horrible 😩 lol I was able to manage my contractions for the first 12 hrs I got the Epi after they broke my water but it only numbed half my body it ended up wearing off and I felt the whole delivery 😞😪 it sucked

@babyabilene i havent medicated at all bc my response to the contractions is litteraly almost nothing. If i had pain meds of any kind i garentee it would stop my contractions.

@babyabilene doubt it. Still at 6cm and the potocin is at 23 now and i can still barely feel a thing.
