How bad does a contraction hurt on a scale of 1-10?

I've had them before during a miscarriage. My body went into labor to pass it out of my body. It was a 10 for me. I thought I was going to die. They were every 2 minutes and it lasted for hours.

My last child it was about 7. I was able to hold a conversation with family till water broke it was a 9/10 then I was ready for epidural

For me more than a 10 😩 I hate pain tho

7-8 when I was upright and walking 10 if I was sitting down or lying down
