I got mine a couple weeks ago. They said they were doing it as a precaution and that it didn't mean I would deliver early. They just wanted to cover all the bases

I asked my Dr about the shots Tuesday when I seen her but she said I wasn't having preterm labour so I didn't need it. @lugland

Mine said explained it that if they had to take them for whatever reason early then the shots gave them a better shot at surviving

Yeah it helps make their lungs stronger. I'm glad I'm getting it now
