My son is the same way. But sometimes you gota do you. I make sure he is safe either in his playpen or chair and then i go take a shower or do whatever it is i have to do.

@mluvs7 sometimes. But it is what it is. Always make sure his needs are met and when they are amd they are still crying, just let him cry it out for a bit and then tend to him again. It teaches them that mommy is busy but she hasnt abandon you. Its a process and will always be a process but you cant just stop every thing just to have the baby clinged to you all day. You'll never have a moments peace if you do.

@readingsbyv yeah I've been learning to do this lately ....I'm just not use to it and feel sad...non of my other kids were like this I think I was just lucky before hehe

@mluvs7 yes its always hard at first. But just do it in small intervals. Like let him cry for 5 mins and then reassure him hes safe. And every day jus tack on amother min or two where you dont pick him up right away.

✋🏼 daughter was the same way for the first few weeks. She lasts a little longer every time I'm her crib now. I would do the same. Let her be for a min or two and then tend to her to let her know I'm here. Little by little. We gotta remember this world is oh so new to them and all they know is mom.

OMG same!!. But my doc told me not to let her cry too much because then she sucks to much air in her lungs and it will give her gas. I had not heard that until my doc told me last week. So now I try not to let her cry to much she is only 1 month old and very clingy wants to bf every 30 mind or hour.
