Help! I have no idea what I should do.
LO has had a high fever since last night around 8pm. First time I checked, it was 101.3 so I just got her down to only her diaper and tried to push fluids. Tested again round 10p and it had went up to 102.9 so I gave some fever reducer. The fever reducer did not seem to help whatsoever and ever since 11p her temp has read 102.9 -103.8. She refused to take any fluids last night but I was able to get her to drink a little bit of water and eat a few crackers around 11am today. She had another dose of fever reducer around 12:15p at a temp of 103.8, checked temp at 1:15 and it had one went down to 103.5 and she is very clingy and miserable.
She has had high fever of 103+ before, but this is the first time she hasn't wanted water/formula and also the first time tylenol has not helped bring the fever down. I was told by her PED and ER to never worry about a fever unless its 105+ and that it isn't necessary to see her.
What should I do? I don't want to take her to her doctors and end up just being sent home because its nothing serious, but I also hate seeing her so miserable.
I am lost... sorry for the long post!

Thank you, ladies. We decided to go to walk in care. The doctor is positive it is Roseola. We are alternating between tylenol and motrin and she is doing much better. She is finally taking some fluids for me. @jaie16 @lovinmommy51 @nicoler @caydensmommy @mammabearto3

Try fruit Popsicles and watered down juice instead of water? Keep her in a diaper but with a blanket and keep a cold compress on her forehead. Maybe a lukewarm bath if she will tolerate that. I'd get a new pediatrician. She's obviously fighting an infection and may need antibiotics. I'd also raise hell with the current pediatrician and demand she be seen and treated today. Hang in there mama!

Does your doctor have an advice nurse or phone triage or anything like that? When I call to schedule my daughter for anything like that they always have me talk to the advice nurse first and she helps determine if I actually need to bring her in and if I do how soon. Maybe you could at least call the doctor and see what they think?

I've never heard of not needing to be seen until after 105 all doctors have told me to take my children in if it gets around 103 because a high temperature for too long of 104 can become fatal.... with that being said I don't want to make you worry more but I would definitely take her to be seen

I'll take her to the ER. They told me 103 is time to see a dr? I wouldn't take the risk of it being serious tho
