So I've been reading about the absence of nasal bones and down syndrome. Almost all of our ultrasound pics, it looks like can't doesn't have a nose at all or even a mouth. We have one ultrasound where you can kinda see his nose. Any ideas,?

2d profile i see a nose. 3d is weird sometimes. Positioning of everything can make it look different. At 20w you should have your anatomy next.

@kambam thank you!! Yes we schedule my anatomy us at my appt with the doc next Thursday. I just hate that even after the scan, I won't talk to the doctor for another month. The office never calls me. Good or bad.

Did you do the nst?? It should've showed you possibilities for all genetic deformities. It'll be fine mama 💙

Yeah its just an ultrasound. Dont do amnio or anything. But it is another ultrasound so I'd choose between nst or anatomy or see what the doc says about both.

Seriously. I would not worry at all especially since you're only going to a place that does them for fun!

@tasharoshell all babies are different. I wouldn't stress about it. Wait for the anatomy scan and then you will have a peace of mind. They're still developing in there. Not everything is going to look like it should at first. Plus I agree on the different angles thing. I'm sure your baby will be wonderful!
