I know 100.9 is not considered a fever but since yesterday morning my daughters temp has went up and down between 98.5 and 100.9 she went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor said she has a virus that if she's not better by Friday to bring her back. I am just nervous about her temp up and down like that for a day in half. Has anyone else had this happen and what did you do?

As long as it stays a low grade fever like that, it's just the bodies response to fighting off stuff... so I would not worry too much about it!

Last week my daughter had a temp for 3 days always between 99 and 102.9..we took her to the hospital on the 3rd day when it hit 104(while sleeping on her face) and 102.9 when she was awake. They said it was a virus and told us to give her the antibiotics(for a dog bite she got monday last week) and to rotate giving her motrin and tylenol every 3 hrs..its now come down and she hasnt had a fever since this monday of this week.❤ i hope your baby gets to feeling better. I wouldn't be too worried unless it spikes bad.but maybe try tylenol and a cold rag?

She has been up for about 20 minutes and seems to be acting like her old self and no temp so far going to give her motrion in a few minutes because it will be 4 hours since I have her Tylenol just to be on the safe side
