my son chocked on a piece of bread.. he turned very red and has struggke to breathe.. i tap his back hard enough until it came out. when it dit he kept it in his mouth and continued chewing on it like nothing happened 😒

@elijahsmommy2017 yeah.. i stay very calm and did what i was thought and after it was all out i started panicking amd crying.. and was just looking at me like 'where my bread at tho?'

This is my biggest fear! My LO has choked mildly and it took everything in me not to panic. She spit on her and like yours, just kept on chewing lol. They are a hardy bunch @eze.love,

@sunshyne76 he turned all red and struggled so much.. and i find too many parents dont really what to do when it happens.. but it is part of their learning to choke on food. we just need to be ready for everything..

@eze.love, That must have been scary to see but you are right they have a good gag reflex at this age. I registered for a first aid course but couldn't make it when I developed preeclampsia. I know the basics at least. Hubby is certified and knows what to do thankfully. Parents should take the time to learn, you are right @eze.love,
