They told me my sons head was high up two days before I delivered him lol

Yeah they didn't check my cervix until I went into labor though. I kept saying to my OB there is so much pressure and she said i don't know why his head is high up. And I delivered him two days later. My water broke and I waited over 3 hours to go to the hospital and they checked me and I was only at a 3 and then an hour later I was pushing lol shit can change so fast

Don't worry! You could be sitting there for weeks dilated to 2-3 cm with no labor in sight. Or you could be tightly closed and go into full blown labor the next day. I would've given anything to go past 38 weeks so be patient I know it's hard 😭 @tiffanyf,

my first was born 6 days past the due date , I had the same issue not effaced or dilated . I went from 0cm & 0% to 5cm & 100% in 6 days lol

I was not dilated, not effaced, and her head was so far up they couldn't feel it at all. She was due February 9th. C section scheduled for February 2nd. I had an appointment January 30th and they said nothing. I made no progress. Still couldn't feel her head and wasn't dilated or anything so they felt comfy sending me home to wait and I went in labor the next morning. My water broke sometime in the night. I woke at 5:08 and had her at 11:32 on January 31. U never know! 😊😊😊
