What you see is a mom getting her baby snuggles, enjoying some coffee and video games. Having a calm morning. What you don't see is a mom struggling. Struggling with self-image issues, episodes of depression, feeling defeated but still working hard at her business. Putting a smile on my face when sometimes all I want to do is cry. We all put on a brave face when going through our day. Sometimes coming out and being real about what your dealing with is necessary. It usually looks like everything is perfect but I have my issues and opening up about them is really hard for me. I'm the kind of person who keeps these things to myself. It's times like these I wish my grandpa was still here. His wisdom and brute honesty were something I always valued. Running a business no matter how you do it is hard, but no matter how I'm feeling I will continue to do the best I can and work to succeed. My family deserves that and even though I have a hard time believing it sometimes I deserve it too.
