Hi mommas! FTM here with a birth control concern question. 2 questions btw
Yesterday I had my ppd checkup where I also got my birth control. I was totally unprepared to decide and thankfully they had models and a good explanation of what each birth control does, despite hubby making me choose what he thought was best. I chose the stick in the arm. I was wondering if any of you had switched birth controls and why. I'm kinda just seeing how this goes. I didn't really have a good amount of time to think about it and it didn't cross my mind at all since my daughter was born. To be honest I don't know if I made a good choice...I feel weird about it and I don't know why but also concerned. I can't understand why I feel this way but I do. My doctor said I could come back any time to try a different birth control if I later on felt uncomfortable. So I'm wanting to know what you ladies prefer.

I've only had the implant myself but I love it. I haven't had any problems with it at all. It doesn't interfere with breast feeding if you're worried about that. I've heard that other people who had it had headaches and weight gain but I can safely say I haven't had any of that. If you have any questions, shoot me a dm.

@j_erin, I prefer to track my ovulation naturally in my opinion all BC is bad it's prevent your body from doing something it naturally does. I do support plan b in emergency cases even through its bad. It's better for that backup. I say see how u like what u choose and go from there. Best of luck

I felt the same way. How do we know that we are picking what's best for our bodies? We don't til we try and that scared me.
i haven't heard anything bad about that one but its not the route i decided for me.

I had the implant and it made me gain about 30lbs within the year and a half I had it. Took it out and began to lose weight much easier. Now that my period has officially came back since I had my daughter I'm going to start estrogen only pills because I am still breast feeding.. I felt great no cramping no weight gain regular periods no acne when I first took BC pills. So that's why I'm coming back to them lol
