After 2 and a half hrs struggling with script writing that i dont understand (thanks to my useless computer operations teacher) i accomplished nothing when creating a minecraft server. I got it up and running but my sister tries to log into it and both times it told her the server is outdated. I give up. -_-

@bluepenguin i didnt have to port forward bc i was just doing one through thr router for everyone in the house. I got it up and running, and i was able to log into it, but it wouldnt let her log into it. Her minecraft did that with the last server my husband made to. Then i try to log into her normal server. The single player server that you open up to the local network, but it said that the hosts multiplayer client was outdated. She said her minecraft has gotten all the updates, so i cant figure out why it still thinks everythings outdated.

@bethany_swaney yeah I've had problems like that before but I haven't tried making a server in about 2 years so I can't remember how to do it 😓 unfortunately
