What have you all done for your kids first birthdays? I can't see going all crazy for it as he's not even going to remember it. Yes it's his first but I'd rather spend the money on things he actually needs. I was only planning on two small bbq type parties with both sides of my family. I'm in the early stages of planning. Just wanted some of your thoughts.

I didn't do a party but I did a smash cake photoshoot for him and bought him some toys. On his actual birthday he just had a cake to say happy birthday.
