Constantly go back and forth between wanting another baby now, or waiting until Harper is older so…

My son will be 11 months on the 8th of June and I am going to be 11 weeks tomorrow. It's a struggle, I stay sick smelling formula and baby poop! He has clung to only me for almost 2 months now and doesn't want anyone else and it does get hard when you just want to rest and get in a nap for yourself and I am really struggling with fatigue. But I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm excited as can be and I know it will get easier once I get into the 2nd trimester but it's been hard so far.

I am with you on that! We're trying to get pregnant but I'm always back and forth in my head about the pros and cons. Two babies under 2 is nuts but there are so many positives too!!!

@huntersmommy716 Yeah. I can't imagine dealing with fatigue and my almost 1 year old... She is always so active, so I know it would be hard being pregnant, and tired while chasing her around all the time.

@vvrobinson Yes!! Its like one week I'm ready to start trying, and the next I want to wait until my daughter is 3-4 to have another. She just really seems to enjoy being around other babies, and I want another, but at the same time I think it would be difficult with two under two!!

@keeping_upwith_harperkate, my daughter adores other babies. Screams and shouts at them in the store trying to talk to them lol. She's lonely by herself mommy and daddy isn't the same as another baby to play with. I want another one and I'll try for another but those scary thoughts creep in and I start to think about it again lol plus we don't have any family to help. It's just my husband and I so it's gonna be really tough for us but definitely worth it

My daughter LOVES other babies and kids. She's fascinated by them but I honestly think sometimes she feels threaten by her brother. She will give him hugs and kisses 1 day then cry when she sees him getting more attention than her.

Overall she enjoys him being around, at least I think but she's also become really clingy to me, and crybabyish. Idk if the crying to temper tantrums are from adjusting to a new sibling or if she's just hitting the terrible 2's early. Either way she has full blown meltdowns when she can't have her way. She's 14 months 😅

I'm glad they will be close in age and can relate to each other and play. But another reason is that if I waited until my daughter was 3/4 then I would have to deal with her being in school and doing activities like ballet or gymnastics while also having a newborn and that may be difficult to juggle. But now they will basically do everything in the same time frame ☺️, so that's something to think about.
