Absolutely FUMING at my OH mother... she is so opinionated and sometimes doesn't realise what she says... (this could go on)
She ask me yesterday if I was breastfeeding I said I was gonna give it a try but if it doesn't suit me or the baby then I will change she told me not to do that and I shouldn't change the baby feeding and it would be stupid and I hardly ever open my mouth and my partner always says his mind to his mum but other week when it was sunny I was stuck in put a status on Facebook and constantly puts "get in that back garden then" pisses me off... I can't go in the back garden cos we're moving and I'd rather do up the new house were going in and be in that back garden but she constantly commenting on my post on Facebook constantly.. and yesterday she made my partners sister in law cry cos she told her looking after her kids is a chore not pleasure... she really doing my heading there's so much more I could go on and on. and I'm the type of person who doesn't open there mouth.

Oh hun I'm sorry she's being a pain in the arse. But do not listen to her. I switched my boy after a few days he was combo fed and then bottle and he has no issues. He preferred the bottle. Do what's best for you and baby and if she don't like it tell her where to stick it its your baby not hers. Also that's a horrible thing to say to someone. Looking after anyone's baby should be a lovely experience and even if they're hard work you don't say anything to their parents. It's why a lot of parents don't ask for help and end up struggling x

@lukesmummy2016 thanks hun... I just try and let it go over my head but sometimes it's so hard... like my mum she so supportive and is happy I'm trying breastfeeding and never told me what to do cos she knows if I need help I'll ask for it but my partners mother she just constantly mithering and telling me and my partner what to do and I said to my partner I'm gonna get to the point where I will snap at her... it's our first child and we want to experience it together and make our own mistakes... but what she said to my partners sister in law was horrible her mum has got cancer and can't look after her kids but then for someone say it a chore just makes me not want her to look after my chore either xx

Get her blocked! I refused to have my OH mother on Fb because that's exactly what she's like. Sometimes it's best or else they're forever in your business xx

Ignore ignore ignore her! You have to do what suits and works for you! Whether that's breast or bottle! I wanted to breastfeed and did for about 2 days then did a combo for about 2 weeks then solely bottle fed! My daughter is happy and healthy! I used to be like that- like wouldn't say anything but that has changed since having my baby because now I will stick up for myself and tell people what's what! I'm her Mum and I make the decisions for my child (with her Dad) and nobody else! Hopefully you will too once your baba is here! Xx

@tremzini she wasn't like that at first then now she commented on everything and if I block she notice and I'm one of them people who scared of hurting people's feeling. She in constantly in our business if I put a status or a picture she likes and comments on it can't be left alone xx

It's just not nice. I don't understand people like that. I have a very supportive stepmum and my partners mum is amazing. She's lovely. My mother throws money and expects it to solve her problems xx

@lukesmummy2016 my mum is so supportive and knows when I need space but she checks in on me sometimes which I don't mind but my oh mum isn't like that she thinks cos we're young we would need more support which isn't true xx

I changed Arlo after a week, he was breastfeeding to begin with but he was born with a tongue tie and struggled and I didn't feel like he was getting enough so I put him on a bottle and breastfed him also for a while and then completely changed to bottle because it was less hassle and he's been brilliant! End of day hun it's your little girl and you do what suits you both the best don't let anyone interfere xxx

I'd just keep my distance don't give her the opportunity to piss you off especially when your hormones are all over the place you don't need any stress have you tried talking to your partner about it xxx

Aw hun thats horrible she sounds like she think she knows best! Give it a go and if it doesnt suit you or baby dont feel bad im actually going to straight bottle feed with my son purley because i want to give him formula i have other reasons but they seem like excuses lol! One day u might just snap at her id step back from her if you can or politly tell her where to stick her oppinion. I deleted fb is @so much drama and ive had a stress free life without it! If she says a comment again just say "im sure il know whats best for MY baby and shal do what i feel is right" just a little comment back might do you the world of good otherwise shel continue to feel she has control over you. She sounds so mean xxx

Unfortunately the only way to deal with people like that is to speak up or ignore them. I know which I prefer to do! Lol. Often in laws or even our own parents think they know it all because they've been there & done it. So you can either grow thicker skin and let it go over you or stand your ground with your decisions & be strong in the fact your a Mother doing what your doing how you choose to do it 😊💪
