@sabrinanoahsmommy, as hard as it is I would attempt to refrain from asking question exactly like that if u can't hear the truth. Maybe say what does our family do that makes u so happy? Did u ever imagine ur life would be like this. By say if ur happy it's giving him the option to act as if he isn't also may b going off ur vibe of ur questioning his happiness so maybe u feel that he is not. Hope that makes sense

That sounds like he's full of regrets, but that doesn't mean you're one of them. He could just mean he's wanting something different for his family. I wouldn't take it personally.

On that note, it's never too late to do anything about it. As long as you're alive you can do something different. My in laws became cattle farmers in their late 50's. 😂😂 I'd just talk to him and find out what it is he thinks he can't change, and maybe make some goals together to try and make it happen.

Update: I talked to my hubby and he said that he didn't mean it towards me and our son that he just misses the military and feeling like he belonged to something 😔 so then I just hugged him and told him he does belong he belongs in me and our son's life but I did tell him also that if he really misses it that much I'll be by his side every step of the way to go back 🙌🏻😊😍👪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸.
