I have a UTI and my doctor prescribed me macrobid 100mg. Has anyone else took this while pregnant for a UTI? The doctor said it was safe but I hate taking meds while pregnant I feel guilty like I'm going to hurt my baby 🙁

Not getting rid of the uti could hurt the baby worse. They say not to use it in the last 2 to 4 weeks of pregnancy

The doctors know what they're doing. You don't want any infections down there, believe me.

@saraguinn23 I just finished my last dose today. I've had 3 uti's since pregnancy. Since I was a kid I've suffered from them. The doc says I may have to take them for the remainder of my pregnancy.

@gmartinez31 oh wow that's crazy! I hate having a UTI and it seems like it's worse during pregnancy. Thanks for your reply it's nice to know I'm not the only one 🙂
