When does "the dropping" generally happen? And what does it feel like?

Babys head is down feels like u can't close ur legs cuz baby is sooo low

For me it happened a little over two weeks before my daughter came. It felt like someone stabbing my cervix

I couldn't sit down normally I had to sit leaned back. It sucked 😂
