Has anyone gotten positive home pregnancy tests, but negative blood test, and in fact was pregnant?!…

Yes a good friend of mine did. Took three tests at the clinic all neg but all her home pregnancy tests were positive.

I'm asking because I have had 3 positive hpts and I had a blood test last Thursday and it was negative.

@kcsmom_03, uhm I'm not sure if they did the blood test or not.. I read your post wrong so I don't know

Sometimes ovarian cysts may cause those type of results

Be sure to express your concern with the doctor and also ask if they can do a urine test

@princessofhope yes. I was told if AF doesn't come by Wednesday to call and get blood redrawn. Have had some light pink spotting this am

And in the meantime just proceed as if you are pregnant just in case

@princessofhope yes that is what I told myself I would do until I for sure know. I mean the test I took last Thursday really looked positive so the negative blood test really throws me off.
