How can I get Isabelle to let me trim her freaking nails? 😒 She scratched the crap out of me and now I have a huge welt on my face.
As soon as I even touch her hands, she pulls them away. I'm afraid to even get near her with the clippers bc I'm afraid I'll end up nicking her bc she won't stay still! I try to rip or file them, too, but again, she won't let me near her hands. Even when she's asleep, if anything touches her hands, she moves away or wakes up.
She's like a dog...can't touch her paws. 😩

I tried when my son sleeps, but guess what, he knows! He could be in a deep sleep but as soon as I get ready to clip, he wakes up, no matter how agile and quiet I am 😂 I've actually just started grasping his hand with force because those lil shits need to be clipped, I try to have him hold something else and try to sing to him or bounce him to distract him. Finally I've been able to clip them. This is the first time ever I've clipped them, my SIL has done them since he was born, I was too afraid
I juuust started clipping J's while he's sleeping but I used to always bite them 😬

Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?

Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
