Any CNA's here??? I am looking into starting classes

I would recommend against being a CNA like she said it's minimum wage and you care for people who are elderly (mostly) which the work is hard and very much physical. If you wanna be a CNA to then become a nurse it's best to just go for being a nurse I wasted a year of my life with CNA courses when I could have been doing my prerequisites for nursing instead.

If you want to be a nurse I would go straight to rn or Lvn. I was taking cna classes, but learned that the pay is minimum wage...

which is ridiculous. Also, cna's mostly care for old people and people who are in hospice. That means bathing, feeding, cleaning older people.
