So today I went to the Art Market, its outdoors and its pet friendly. Silas was pointing out everything he saw! Red bikes, yellow bikes, kid wagons, scooters, strollers, birds, a hairless cat, and dogs. Lots and lots of dogs! Anyways, Silas pointed out a dog and I said 'I see the dog". The owner started coming towards Silas with the dog saying "he can pet him!" I said "no" she pulled her dog back with a disgusted, offended face and said "no?" I said "he's allergic" she said "oh, I'm so sorry" like yeah you better take that attitude back! No I wasn't trying to say your dog is aggressive and might bite and no I'm not a mean mom trying to tell my child he can't pet a dog just because. It's a matter of my child's health and I hate having to tell him no. He's only 2 and doesn't understand yet 😩
