Can some mommies give me their advice please. I am 20 years old about to be 21 next month and I am five weeks pregnant with twins - I just found out yesterday during an ultrasound it is twins. I am currently unemployed, but have been looking and my boyfriend already has a six year old daughter we have every other week. He works but only makes a few dollars more than minimum wage. We can't afford two babies at all and I have no clue what we will do. Should we even be having the babies? I am blessed to have twins, but right now isn't the time to bring life into the world not being able to support them. Please help. I have no one else to talk to. By the way I was on birth control the IUD and got pregnant.

@sunflowerchildmamaa, Thank you for that I know I've been a hot mess lately but I just need to pull together my determination and know that this lil one has a purpose and plan in my life and I'll give my kids the best life ever no matter how hard I struggle❤️

@cj@lullabelle, I don't think any of us moms knew how strong we are until we had our little bundles of joy in our arms. Believe me, you pull strength out of no where once you have your babies. It's the most amazing thing. You will be okay. Just, be positive. I know it's really hard right now but start making moves to prepare and everything else will come to you. ❤️ with your boyfriends support or without. YOU GOT THIS.

I was in the same spot as you as soon as I found out. I have a 7 month old and a 4 year old step daughter and just found out that we are pregnant again my babies will be 15 months apart and at first I wanted an abortion... I'm unemployed and the child support is killing us but in a crazy turn of events my husband got a position where he'll be making a lot more money plus babies are always a blessing. If you ever need to talk I'm always available and I wish you the best of luck twins will be a lot at once but you can do it if you put your mind too it I promise it does get better❤️❤️

@sunflowerchildmamaa You are right. It is scary and my boyfriend and I keep arguing which makes everything worse. I think I am going to keep the babies and wing it as you said. I'm going to try and get work for next week and work my butt off to support these babies. Thank you for being a friend. :)

I personally wouldn't be able to handle having an abortion mentally or emotionally, even if my bf demanded it. If you can't either, then adoption seems like the right way to go. I'm always always here if you want to message me or anything, okay? ❤

It was a rough decision for me too. My husband was unemployed when we found out. And I was bearly I mean bearly starting a new job. I found out I was pregnant on Friday and I started my new job on Monday. It was the most scariest thing. And like you, we had to make a decision. So we winged it. A baby is always a difficult thing and twins I can imagine. But the also bring a lot of blessings with them. I found out in August. My husband didn't find his job until December. And I winged it by starting my new job, but not saying I was pregnant until after my 3 month probation. I said I had just found out. It worked out. Believe me it's scary but eventually all the pieces fall into place.

@abby.r1554 You are right. I've been thinking about adoption, but my boyfriend said he refuses to do that and give up his rights to anybody. He thinks since we can't afford them abortion is the only way and nothing else. I can't talk to him about anything it's difficult. I guess I will start looking into someone to adopt them so they can have a good life. I see you are in Arizona about an hour from me since you're in Queen Creek. It would be nice to have a friend.

@kenzishae Thank you. I will go next week to see about financial aid for my babies and I. It's just hard not having any emotional support from anybody.

@kvleeks you're absolutely right and that's what I'm thinking about doing. It's just my boyfriend has his mind set on only having the abortion and gets mad when I talk about anything else for the babies. I have really no support.

I would suggest that maybe you try to find employment. I personally don't think that any child is a mistake and even if things are shakey financially at the beginning, there are resources available that could help you get what you need for those babies. Just gotta take the time to look into it. Congrats ☺️

The decision is yours honey but honestly you have to think about all the affects that an abortion will have on you not just physically but emotionally as well. Terminating not only one but two babies is alotttt! You have at least 8 months to get life together it's not like the babies will be born tomorrow love

A part of me is so happy to be blessed with twins. I hate that we can't afford them and I don't want them to struggle because of this. My boyfriend wants me to have an abortion because he thinks that is the best thing to do, but I'm not too sure of that.

Yeah there is, but I meant something a bit more drastic as in going to the clinic and termination of the pregnancy although I am not all for that. I don't want my babies in the adoption system that can be a hard life for them which I don't want.

@lullabelle oh lol well that does change things up a bit lol but I do strongly believe that no child is an accident. I'm sure you guys will figure things out and fall in love with the thought of your twins. Once you get past the shocked part of it all lol I know I would be shocked if I was having twins. Lol

I wasn't ready to have a child either. Granted I'm only pregnant with one, but I look at it as it was my decision to have sex knowing the risks of what could happen. Just gotta look at it that way. Other people may disagree, but it sounds like a risk you and your bf decided to take together.
