I don't work. I stay at home + go to school at night. Boyfriend comes home, and is all like "ugh, I just wanna relax, I'm soooo tired". I get it, I know he's tired, he's a mechanic...but when I say I'm tired too he goes "yeah but it's different." Like he deserves to rest and I don't. I don't mind taking care of home + our kids. But I want the appreciation for the shit that I do. Okay, the dishes aren't done. Okay so, the one load of laundry has been in the basket in the last two days...I do soooo much more. Like, dealing with two crying babies who are hungry + want to be held. I have a boy who demands to be held 75% of the time + a girl who gets into literally everything & is constantly telling me no + peeing in corners. I have to wait to shower. I hold my pee. I have bags under my eyes. I don't get the adequate rest to get rid of this cold I've had for 4 months! Most days I just want to be appreciated & respected. I do much more than sit around all day + watch OUR kids. You come home from work + you're done for the day. 5 o'clock comes around + I'm still on the clock. By 9pm when Summer is sleep. I'm STILL doing my job, getting up at least 2x at night with Sean. So yeah...I work & I'm fckn tired!

Girl I feel the exact same way... Like being a mom is not easy! They think just cuz we get to stay at home that it's not that hard! I have a 7 month old son, and am pregnant with number 2 and it's draining! I wanna sleep and rest for the baby but I'm on mom duty 24/7

Yeah it's not! My daughter was 9mo when I got pregnant and maaaann it was tough lol. Its intense @claudiaporteous

I get the same exact thing. And I work! I work part time only because full time isn't available right now and I work in a busy, hot kitchen on my feet and come home and clean house, do laundry, run errands, and take care of our baby all while he demands me to do a hundred other things. He also gets upset if his laundry isn't finished or the house is a mess. When I'm running on 3-4 hours of broken sleep a night, working and taking care of everything else I don't want to hear how he's tired. He sleeps ALL night long too. He don't help me thru the night not even on weekends. He sits at a desk at work and then drives clients to appointments. How is he more tired than me? He comes home from work and I say watch her while I shower or watch her for a minute and he says I can't I need a nap. Then plays on his phone or watches tv. I'd love for him to swap places once with me. He wouldn't survive.
