How do you guys feel about giving your 3 month old solids ?
I'm Latina and waited untill my son was 6 months . Their stomachs are not fully developed untill then . And I do my research. I don't always go with what my doctor says. Now a days doctors say anything
@yurilove, i honestly feel like your her mother and you will make the best decision for her. Do what you feel is right.
@yurilove, do what you feel is right if you have doubts talk to your doctor or pediatrician and tell them what you want and see what they have to say. I did it slowly and it was the best because she hated formula.
@prettybrownriri, she's not Getting full and is drinking 5-8 ounces and NOT GAining the sufficient weight
Idk I mean me and everyone in my family (latinos) started solids at 3 months slowly and it worked out plus sometimes I feel like doctors say a lot of things but it might not be the same for all babies @raehow, @6.5.16, @theoandannabethsmommy,
Honestly I would not do it quite yet it's suggested to start feeding solids at minimum 4 months but it's being recommended 6 months now
It's really up to you if you feel your little one is ready. I would introduce it slowly for a few days try mashed sweet potatoes and just makes sure there are no allergies then move on to the next. I started I think around 3 1/2 I wanted her to be able to sit up. I mean she wasn't completely sitting on her own but she was with help
@yurilove, No problem let me know how it goes
