I'm guilty of cosleeping lol. but my son would be sound asleep laying close to me and me petting his chest softly and making the shushing noise. I still have to do that to get him to sleep lol. Nothing wrong with rocking your baby to sleep though she loves being close to her momma :) ... Most of the time my son climbs on top of me to go to sleep lol. it's a bad habit lol

It's very common for babies to want that because they technically aren't fully developed mentally when they are born. Their instinct tells them they need to be close to mom for survival. My son was the same way it was I either get no sleep and try to put him in his bassinet or try safely co sleeping. If your not comfortable with co sleeping have you tried a bassinet that can go on the side of your bed so your LO could still feel and smell you?

My daughter did that around 3-4 months. I read it was a phase. Sleep regression or something. My daughter stopped doing it after a couple weeks. But I'm not for sure

When my son was lil I just put him w his bottle n the crib turn lights out n put him to sleep at the same time everyday n he would go to sleep like that

Now that he's three y old I put him n bed lights out and n bed at 745 n he knocks out w in 20-30 min

@vamommy89 sounds like we are on the same game plan! What you just explained I do.. even when she stops twitching or moving, then 2 seconds later she is up 😖

@diegosmommy0213 what did you do when he was 3 months old ?

Put him n his crib gave bottle turn off lights n I did that at the same time every night or naps n worked
