My dr said same thing they told me just watch it till 18 months and make things more difficult like say cup if he wants a drink or more if he wants food
He knows, baba, mama or mom, dada or dad, cat, hi, bye. But when you say hi or bye he usually just waves. We taught him a wave for hi and a different one for bye. But he just won't say the words.
@mommysbabies, @zombiemommie, thanks! Jaxson is 14 months and he says dad, please, yes, baby, baba and that's it. If I ask him to kiss baby, now the yard (with his toy mower), or if I start counting he knows to hide for hide and seek. He just doesn't really say words and it was concerning to me since the doctor said at his 15 month apt he should say 10-15 words 😩
My son isn't wanting to talk. It's really all baby babble. When he misses his daddy he says Dad to me all day. He knows cat but he just says Ca, or its baby babble. He doesn't try to say words. He isn't really interested. He knows mom but won't say it.
My son was only saying mama dada and meow he just added a bunch this past month we also did early on evaluation and they said he was fine first child tends to not say to much also they said with a new baby to not be surprised if you see regression because they want to be mommy's baby
