Is there anything I can do to keep Isabelle from scratching herself in her sleep? She wakes up looking like she got mauled by a tiger and I feel so bad.
If I put her in a shirt, she scratches her belly/back. If I put her in a onesie, she scratches her legs. I can't do both bc she gets hot. I've tried putting lotion on her so her skin won't get dry but it doesn't make a difference. The length of her nails also doesnt make a difference.

Have you tried covering her hands? You can get little mittens to put over her hands at night designed for just that reason. Or even baby socks. Use a ribbon or something to tie it snug enough she can't pull it off.(but loose enough it's still safe lol)

@rhealize @mommysbabies I don't know if she would go for that 😕 She can't even keep socks on lol. I know she would get out of them in like 30 seconds when she was a newborn. She hates anything like that...half the time she's naked during the day because she doesn't even like clothes. 😂😂

@theinkedmommy We use the Aveeno baby lotion. We were using the eczema kind bc I thought that was what it was, but I haven't noticed any spots, just scratches. And her nails are at the quick (is that what it's called? Lol.).

Hum may just have to wait for her to grow out of it or it could be the detergent you are using is making her itchy

What a punk 😂😂 What about clothing designed for eczema? It's lighter weight and silky, so it doesn't get too hot at night. Then if you're still worried about heat you can get a floor fan to regulate temperature in the room she sleeps in.
