Addy was born May 21st at 11:24pm. After three and a half days of laboring, I was barely 3 cm dialated when the doc broke my water. After that the contractions got so bad and came so close together. I was really trying to hold on to sanity and continue without the epidural. My husband was trying to help me through the pain. But he could barely touch me, my tummy, or my back. It made the pain feel so much worse. And he kept telling me it was okay to get the epidural. I struggled with my decision because i had such a horrible time with it on my first birth. But after a lot of thought i ended up getting it at 5cm. I am still so mad at myself, but i couldn't breath or function through the pain. After i got the epidural, i dialated the rest super quick and only pushed for less than 40 mins. But now that she's here, I'm glad she made it through safely and quickly.
