Had a doctors appointment earlier today around 4, said he was very low but that I wasn't very dilated yet. I asked if I was at all and he just said that he didn't go all the way back to really check during the cervix exam just went back far enough to tell he was very low? Like what?? Why wouldn't you go all the way back, I want to know how far dilated I am? Also, all night I've been having terrible cramping along my waist and stabbing pains in my vagina, I want to cry 😩

Because there isn't a need to. If you were a little dilated it wouldn't change anything. Also he would have to be at the cervix to even feel how low the baby is, so there is no "all the way back" to check for dilation. His wording doesn't make sense. Take some tylenol pm, have a warm bath or shower and try to sleep. Your body is going through the changes of preparing to have a baby very soon. Just hang in there!
